Ingredients

Healthy eating is important, but there are just some nights when you need to have dessert for dinner, right? Every now and again, it just needs to happen. Or just be a normal person and eat dessert for dessert, it's all good!

In honor of TWO exciting food holidays that fall on Nov. 29 -- National Lemon Creme Pie Day and Chocolates Day -- here are some recklessly delicious treats that will satisfy your sweet tooth in new and exciting ways. We're taking classic recipes and doing some really crazy and delicious stuff to them. Fried pie? Dessert nachos? Check it out:

1. Amish Fry Pie

Ever had Amish Fry Pie? If you're craving sweet, tangy, smooth filling inside a perfectly flaky, crispy crust but can't make it to Amish country, don't fret! These are fairly simple to make at home. P.S. If you want to take shortcuts, you can totally use store-bought pie crust and/or filling, whatever flavor you want, if lemon doesn't float your boat.

2. Deep Fried Chocolate Truffles

There's nothing like the perfection that is a silky, rich chocolate truffle melting in your mouth. Add some sweet breading and drop it in the deep fryer, and you have a trio of fantastically interesting textures, all the way from crispy crunchy exterior that borders a layer of warm, gooey melted truffle, to the cool, rich center. Alternately, if you aren't in a chocolatey mood, these white chocolate lemon truffles would also fry up nicely.

3. Lemon Chocolate Pie

How could you possibly say no to a pie with two crusts? Seriously, how can you? Especially when the top crust is sandwiched between thick, sweet custardy lemon filling and a deep, rich chocolate frosting.

4. Fried Chocolate Pudding Hand Pies

Not that regular pudding is boring or anything, but we sure can't complain when it's fried in a pie pocket. Note: any flavor and variety of pudding works here. Mix and match if you want!

5. Loaded Cookie Dough Nachos

As if nachos couldn't get any better, you can totally eat them for dessert too, and it's super easy! Plus, it's always a bonus when something has cookie dough in it.

6. Psychedelic Rainbow Sugar Cookie Nachos

This dish is for you if you want something that is trippy and delicious in equal measure. If the rainbow dough is a little more work than you're interested in putting in for something you're just going to shove into your mouth, try this Funfetti version instead and pile it high to the sky with any toppings you like.

7. Lemon Bar Brownies

These cakey treats are sort of lemon bars, but they have the exact cakey-rich texture as brownies, so they are perfect for indecisive fans of both.

8. Tres Leches Coconut and Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream Tacos with Banana Peanut Salsa

We're not saying that you can improve on the perfection of classic tacos, but these crispy, sweet flour tortillas filled with creamy tres leches, smooth chocolate fudge and sweet, rich "salsa" sure give them a run for their money.
