Starbucks fans in NYC, rejoice! The coffee giant has announced plans to open a Starbucks Roastery in the city's Meatpacking District.
What's a roastery, you ask? It essentially means that not only will you be able to enjoy your Starbucks drink, you'll be able to see how it's made as well. Yes, you read that right. The roasting process will be on full display.
The new location will also feature an exclusive menu with rare coffee flavors and varieties.
"Our Seattle Roastery experience created something that had never been done before, transforming a retail environment into something far beyond just a coffee shop and into the single-best retail experience of any kind," CEO Howard Schultz said, E! Online reported.
"In New York, we want to take elements from what we originally created and build something even bigger and bolder, celebrating coffee and craft in a completely unique and differentiated way. We want this experience to tell our customers that we're coming to Broadway."
This new, amazing Starbucks is set to open in 2018.
