Edible art? Count us in!
Holly Fox, a Los Angeles-based graphic designer has been turning heads recently with her gorgeous, innovative cookies. Each individual treat is meticulously designed, piped with royal icing, and beautifully photographed for her mesmerizing Instagram account.
When it comes to Fox’s unique brand of artwork, however, looking is not the best part. While Michelangelo’s sculptures might lend themselves to gallery viewing -- and there is something reverent about experiencing the Mona Lisa at the Louvre -- the graphic designer’s creations are best when eaten.
Luckily, thanks to Fox’s Etsy store, you can do just that! In her profile, the artist writes:
I’m a Pantone loving, lipstick wearing, jewel collecting gal that’s not afraid of a little leopard. I’ve never met a French fry I didn’t like, and I recommend a piece of candy a day to keep the doctor away (but definitely not the dentist, ha!). ...
I started baking about 5 years ago on a whim, to try and see if I could figure out this whole royal icing thing. Since then, I have been mixing many, many colors and piping many, many jewels and I absolutely love it!
