Ingredients

Halloween is upon us; a time of toilet paper, rubbery Scream masks, haunted hayrides and, of course, trick-or-treating. You can't have Halloween without a pyramid of candy, enough to pilfer and indulge on straight through the month of November.

Bulk candy proprietor and "preeminent" bulk candy dealers, Candy Store, reported that $2.7 billion worth of trick-or-treat candy will be spent this year alone! They took it upon themselves to gather 10 years' worth of sales data for all 50 states (plus Canada) and broke down the sales numbers by state.

Candy Store crunched the numbers to give us a highly interactive "ninja-style map" of the most popular Halloween candy by state.

Across the U.S., candy corn was the most popular (which this writer finds highly suspect, considering candy corn's divisive taste and reputation for being that stale, "edible" fall decor that no one touches).

Take a look below and see if your favorite candy matches up with your state's go-to treat.
