What you should see is a picture of a panda hidden in the zig-zag lines. Not only is this a clever optical illusion, but as the bottom corner of the photo reveals, it has a deeper meaning.

The image was created by Ilja Klemencov to raise awareness for Giant Pandas, who are officially listed as an endangered species on the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List, the Independent reports. As of 2014, there were under 2,000 giant pandas in existence.
