If you thought you were a pretty big fan of Starbucks because you counted down the days for pumpkin-spice season to arrive, or because youf ordered an item off its secret menu, or even because you've personally 'taste-tested' an impressive amount of pastries there (just me?) -- think again.
It turns out there are some Starbucks super-fans who follow not only the coffee chain's beverage updates, but also keep track of how its cups change from season to season.
Every holiday season, Starbucks has a tradition of debuting patterned red cups to celebrate the festive time. This year, the red cups are slated to hit coffee shops in November.
Reddit user DasUberSquid, however, snapped a photo of the cup and posted it into the r/Starbucks subreddit with the title, "I peeked."
In case you were wondering, the title is actually a little insiders-nod to all of the Starbucks baristas out there. Loads of Starbucks employees have been posting photos on Instagram, after secret boxes of holiday cups began arriving at different locations. The boxes say, very clearly: "No peeking until November 10."
Dun dun dun dun!
And now with glitter:
From what we can see, the holiday cup is red, and has a pattern of white leaves (or vines? Or flowers? You decide!) and a bird.
