Cheesy Tuna Pasta Bake


2 cans 5oz Bumble Bee® Solid White Albacore Tuna in Water, drained

3/4 pound small pasta such as fusilli

1/2 cup frozen peas

4 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup flour

2 1/2 cups of milk

1 cup of cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon dijon mustard or dry mustard powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 can of corn drained

4 green onions, thinly sliced


Cook pasta according to package directions. Add the peas for the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook 2 minutes. Add the milk whisking in slowly to combine. Bring to a boil and allow sauce to thicken slightly. Add half the cheddar cheese and mustard, let melt. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper. Stir in tuna, corn and green onion to the sauce. Next, add in the pasta and peas, combining gently. 

Preheat the broiler. Pour mixture into a lightly greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Broil for 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
