Ingredients

Coca-Cola just released what they’re calling their biggest innovation of 2021. The company combined its signature flavor with 100% Brazilian coffee to create Coca-Cola with Coffee. The drink was set to be in aisles all over the United States in January 2021. So you can find a 12oz can of one of three signature flavors- Dark Blend, Vanilla, or Caramel in a store near you. The drink contains 69mg of caffeine per 12oz can. And is pioneering a new category of drinks the company has called “refreshment coffee.”

Over the summer members of the Coca-Cola Insiders Club were able to have the first sips of the company’s newest drink. Coca-Cola Trademark North America Vice President, Jaideep Kibe, called the drink, “a truly unique hybrid innovation.” Adding, “when you take that first sip, you realize there's nothing quite like it... It sips like a Coke and finishes like a coffee.” Although the drink is new to the US it has been available across the world since 2018 when it first launched in Japan. It is now available in more than 30 markets worldwide including Australia, Brazil, Vietnam, Turkey, and Italy. But you might need to pack a suitcase to try all of the unique refreshment coffee flavors. The taste of Coca-Cola with Coffee, much like the other beverages the company produces, is unique to the country it’s consuming in. The recipe is tailor to local taste preferences. They reported that more than 80% of the people who tried the drink said they would buy it. Are you rushing to the store now, or does a Coca-Cola iced coffee hybrid not sound like the caffeine boost you needed today?
