Grocery stores all over the country are doing what they can to help us all keep the distance. Some stores are limiting the number of customers admitted to their stores by closing all extrances except for one, and placing workers at that entrance to ensure the correct number of customers are entering and exiting the store. Customers are then expected to stand six feet from each other in line to adhere to social distancing guidelines, causing long lines that can sometimes wrap around the building. Costco is one of these many stores limiting the number of customers allowed to enter. As of Wednesday, Costco announced they are allowing first responders and healthcare worker priority admittance, and also the ability to move to the front of the line with proof of identification, allowing those essential personnel to get in and out of the grocery store quickly. [sc name="trending-articles" ] Also, be mindful that there are now caps on essential items such as toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning products like Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer and more. Limiting how many of these items an individual can purchase and limiting store hours helps to maintain adequate stock between store deliveries, and helps give the workers more time to keep things fully stocked up!
