Dairy Queen Made a Drumstick Blizzard and We Can’t Contain Our Excitement

Ingredients

Thank you for making our ice-cream dreams come true, Dairy Queen. DQ announced its new Nestle Drumstick Blizzard flavor that combines “two iconic summer treats.” This soft-serve, which DQ named their Blizzard of the Month, looks absolutely delicious. Move over, Oreo Cheesecake Blizzard!

The Drumstick Blizzard has all the ingredients you love about the Nestle classic vanilla sundae cone: roasted peanuts, crispy cone morsels, and chocolate pieces.

YouTube channel Melz&Chris reviewed the new Blizzard and said there were also chocolate-covered peanuts and chocolate-dipped cone pieces in there as well. “Crunchy, chocolatey—it is delicious!” Chris from Melz&Chris said in their review. According to Melz&Chris, a small Blizzard was $3.29 and worth every penny.

This tasty treat brings back the nostalgic days of buying a Drumstick from the neighborhood ice cream truck. But unlike regular Drumsticks, you can eat this right out of a cup! According to DQ’s Facebook post about the launch, customers commented that the new Blizzard hasn’t made it to their local DQ as of yet.

These customers said a few locations have already shared they wouldn’t have the flavor until July. “I went Monday cause I saw they had them and was so excited to get mine! I love Drumstick ice cream! Only to find out they wouldn’t have it,” one Facebook user wrote.

We recommend calling your local DQ first before heading out for this decadent dessert! The DQ Blizzard game has been strong this year, with the release of their Piñata Party Blizzard, Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard, and Oreo Cheesecake Blizzard. We can’t wait to see what other Blizzards DQ has coming up next!
