Big things are happening at Dairy Queen, y'all!

In September, your favorite blended ice cream chain expanded its offerings and is now selling the Best Chocolate Cake Blizzard and DQ Bakes Molten Lava Cake a la Mode, and it's a dream come true!

On top of that, last year's seasonal Pumpkin Pie Blizzard has returned as September's Blizzard of the Month, according to QSR Magazine.

The pumpkin dessert blends vanilla soft serve ice cream with real pieces of pumpkin pie, and the whole thing gets topped with nutmeg and whipped cream to bring home that whole pie experience.

A reviewer from Brand Eating noted in a 2011 report that this creation is delectable and tastes just like the real thing, considering it has the spices, actual pie filling and a satisfying texture from the cool ice cream and crunchy shortbread-style pie crust.

But if rich chocolate cake is more your thing, you might be interested in the Best Chocolate Cake Blizzard, which consists of chocolate cake pieces, fudge frosting, and choco chunks all blended with vanilla soft serve, notes QSR.

They also debuted the Molten Lava Cake a la Mode, which looks just stupendous and starts with warm chocolate cake filled with fudge and served with vanilla soft serve with hot fudge on top.

"These treats are the perfect balance between a velvety, rich chocolate cake and cold, creamy DQ signature soft serve which adds a DQ twist to the traditional chocolate cake experience," said Maria Hokanson, executive vice president of marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation, according to QSR Magazine.

"The Best Chocolate Cake Blizzard Treat and Molten Lava Cake a la Mode are the chocolate cake desserts our Fans have been waiting for. It's definitely chocolate season at DQ in September," adds Hokanson.

I mean … isn't chocolate always in season, though?
