Dairy Queen’s Summer Blizzards

Ingredients

It's here! Dairy Queen has finally announced its new summer blizzard flavors! And they have not left us disappointed. There are three new flavors: Oreo Cheesecake (my two favorite things in one!), Frosted Animal Cookie (I’m getting a serious blast from my childhood), Raspberry Fudge Bliss, and Wonder Woman Cookie Collision.

I’m excited for all of these, let's breakdown what goes into each one of these amazing Blizzards. Oreo Cheesecake

Ok so this first one is fairly straightforward. The Oreo Cheesecake Blizzard is pieces of Oreo and cheesecake blended into vanilla ice cream. The perfect balance of sweet and that little bit of sour that comes from the cheesecake.

The one straight out of my childhood, the Frosted Animal Cookie. This pink Blizzard is blended frosted animal cookies pieces and actual pink confetti frosting. Next is the Raspberry Fudge Bliss. What's better than chocolate raspberry? This Blizzard has a base of vanilla ice cream with raspberries, fudge pieces, and chocolate chucks blended in. And last but not least is the Wonder Woman Cookie Collision.

This not just one but two types of cookie dough which are blended into vanilla ice cream. Those flavors of cookie dough being chocolate chip and chocolate. If that wasn’t sweet enough they went ahead and added some fudge into the mix as well. There are two oldies making a comeback as well, the Cotton Candy Blizzard and the S’mores Blizzard. You may have to wait a bit for these flavors to reach a Dairy Queen near you (I’m sorry), but they’ll definitely be worth the wait.
