Dunkin' Donuts wants to get back together.
You see, back in March 2017, it was going through some personal changes, and during that tumultuous and sensitive time, the chain decided to pull its popular Coffee Coolatta drink from its menu.
Needless to say, feelings were hurt; fights were had. Fans expressed their disappointment in Dunkin' Donuts.
But the coffee chain had to go its own way.
Now, after some time spent working on itself, Dunkin' Donuts has emerged from the metaphorical ashes with a new and improved frozen drink to try to win back the allegiance of the customers it upset.
The Frozen Coffee is just like the old Coffee Coolatta, but with a stronger coffee flavor. You can also jazz it up by adding any unsweetened flavor shot that tempts you (such as the french vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, toasted almond, coconut, blueberry or raspberry syrup), or any sweetened flavor swirl (I'm talking caramel, french vanilla, hazelnut and mocha).
If that doesn't tempt you, Dunkin' Donuts has another trick up its sleeve to get your attention: It's giving the new Frozen Coffee beverage away for free on May 19.
If you drop in at a participating Dunkin' Donuts location between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., you're eligible to taste a free sample of the new caffeinated drink.
So what do you say? Are you ready to be wooed by DD?
