Once again, McDonald’s is testing new initiatives throughout the country in order to determine the next big thing that will make customers happy! All-day breakfast has been a big hit, according to Eater.
How does all-you-can-eat-fries sound to you? What about customizable desserts? Well, if you live near St. Joseph, Missouri, which is preparing to welcome a “McDonald’s of the future,” you’ll be among the first to try the next tasty idea.
“Today’s customers seek a comfortable and inviting atmosphere,” said owner Chris Habiger, who owns several McDonald’s in the area, “So we’re committed to providing a modern look and feel to this restaurant.”
Between a more modern dining room and state-of-the-art play area, to Create Your Taste self-serve hamburger kiosks and table-side service, the new St. Joseph's restaurant may provide a McDonald’s experience that locations around the nation will hope to adapt.
“There really are hundreds of different choices to build the burger of your dreams,” Habiger said. “Once you’ve placed your order, you can find your seat because we’ll bring it out to you.”
However, as McDonald’s is testing out new products and ideas, they’ve realized that some menu items did not receive a passing grade from customers and franchisees. The fast food conglomerate is phasing out its McWraps. Although some restaurants still provide one type of wrap, expect to see it disappear entirely.
