Life can be tricky, especially when you have tough decisions to make. Like, do you want donuts or French toast at breakfast?
For the rest of the summer you won't have to pick -- just head over to IHOP and grab a new French Toasted Donut. Sure, it might not get rid of all your problems in life, but it sure won't hurt, either.
On July 31, IHOP unveiled their three new hybrid treats, which will be available until September 24, according to PR Newswire.
Each donut is dipped in vanilla French toast batter, cooked on the griddle and then topped with some tasty fixings.
The Bacon and Maple French Toasted Donut has a thick maple glaze and hickory-smoked bacon crumbles on top, and the Strawberries and Cream French Toasted Donut features glazed strawberries and powdered sugar. The Apple Fritter French Toasted Donut gets topped with sweet cinnamon apples, powdered sugar and whipped topping.
Brand Eating notes that the calorie count ranges from 490 for the Strawberries and Cream one to 810 for the Apple Fritter creation; the Bacon and Maple dish has 530 calories.
"At IHOP, we're always looking for fresh new ways to excite our guests and bring unexpected flavors together," announced Chef Nevielle Panthaky, vice president, culinary at IHOP, according to PR Newswire.
"This is a delicious mash-up of the classic donut everyone knows and loves, dipped in a creamy vanilla batter, French toasted to a light golden brown and topped off with flavors such as maple glaze and hickory-smoked bacon.
