Get Energized Without Coffee

Ingredients

Maybe you are striving to go cold-turkey on the whole caffeine situation or maybe you are trying to cut down on the black coffee in the morning, nonetheless, we are here to provide remedies for this. Stay energized without the jitters.

Get Enough Sleep

Well, this one is a no brainer. Get in the routine of going to bed and waking up at the same time. Sleep routines are not only for the kiddos, creating a schedule for your body creates a healthier sleep cycle. This promotes a more natural sleep-wake, making you less groggy during the morning. Oh, and most importantly, give yourself the gift of 8 hours of sleep.

Stay Hydrated

Often times, we can find ourselves at the end of the day with a drink record of one pot of coffee and one glass of water. Not ideal for our hydration, especially since caffeine only makes us more dehydrated. Not the biggest fan of water? Toss in some lemon, berries, cucumbers or other natural flavors to get the taste buds craving more of that precious H2O.

Breathe

Ironic as it is, we can oftentimes find ourselves forgetting to breathe. In moments of exhaustion, reset the body with the 4-7-8 breath. Breathe into the belly (through your nose) for 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, and then release (through the mouth, slowly) for 8 seconds. Repeat this for a couple rounds.

Do Things for YOU

We live in a fast-paced society, it can be hard to find time to take care of you. While we can come up with all the excuses in the World on why we can’t do something for ourselves, it’s important to note we create time. If it’s important to you, then the time will be created. You’ll find a little nook of time in your schedule, guaranteed. Doing things for you doesn’t always mean hitting the gym, it can mean going to get a pedicure, visiting an art museum, taking a day to binge Netflix or knitting your cat a blanket- whatever brings you an energy recharge.
