A-list actresses are used to being recognized while going about their daily activities. How many times do you think Jennifer Lawrence has been photographed while grocery shopping, or Helen Mirren has been spotted at a restaurant? What is less common, however, but infinitely more entertaining, is when one A-list actress is hilariously mistaken for another.
That’s exactly what happened to Helen Hunt on a recent Starbucks run. Everyone has had the experience of having their name misspelled on their coffee cup, but Hunt’s encounter was even more hilarious than usual. Apparently, a Starbucks barista mistook the Oscar-winning actress for Jody Foster, another famous A-lister, and even wrote Foster’s name on Hunt’s cup.
Hunt tweeted, "Ordered my drink @Starbucks Asked the barista if she wanted my name. She winked and said ‘We gotcha' #JodieFoster," along with an image of the cup. What’s more, the barista even misspelled Jodie Foster’s name! Check out the cup below, and click here to view the original tweet.
In the barista’s defense, however, this isn’t first time the two actresses have been mistaken for one another. In 1994, Hunt told the “Late Show” that "a lot of people" have noticed the physical similarity between the two. Either way, it’s nice to know even A-listers are plagued by the same Starbucks name debacles as the rest of us!
