Most people will tell you that their dream car is some sort of sleek, shiny billion-horsepower, 90-speed monstrosity.
But does it make toast?
Because my dream car makes toast.
It also makes pasta, keeps your perishables cool and roasts chicken. And I'm pretty sure it's better than whatever bright green racing thing you had in mind.
Before you cluck, "that's impossible and foolish!" let me reassure you that not only does this amazing kitchen of a car exist (and I'm not just talking about food trucks here), but it all fits snugly into your standard SUV (video below).
We should all thank celebrity chef Jamie Oliver for this exciting advance in humanity. The famous Brit teamed up with Land Rover to design something that needs to go mainstream immediately.
"I gave Land Rover a massive challenge to create the ultimate kitchen on wheels," Oliver said in a statement, according to Food and Wine. "I dreamed big and asked for a lot, and what they've done has blown my mind. I didn't think they'd actually be able to put a slow-cooker next to the engine and an olive oil dispenser in the rear storage space, but they did. The result is an amazing Discovery, tailored perfectly for me and my family -- we love it."
That's right, folks. The majestic vehicle does indeed have a slow cooker and an olive oil dispenser.
It also has a sink, a flat-screen TV, an herb garden, a spice rack, a barbecue, an ice cream maker and a designated jam storage spot, because you'll need that for your toast!
"As a team, we never imagined we would be asked to produce wheels that churn butter so it has been great fun working alongside Jamie to bring his vision to life," said Land Rovers' Head of Bespoke at SVO David Fairbairn.
Adorably, many of the features mimic standard features you'd find in your vehicle, like a salt and pepper shaker modeled after a gear shift, with the P (as in park!) releasing pepper, the S releasing salt and the N closing the shaker, notes DriveSpark.
More importantly, where can I get one?
