Peanut Butter Twix is finally making a comeback!!
If you loved the treat but realized that your favorite candy disappeared off the shelves one sad day in early 2017, you'll be relieved to know that they are officially back in production and being distributed far and wide, according to Delish.
The candy was reportedly causing some kind of trouble on the supply line, so Mars decided to stop production for a bit and yank distribution until they could get things fixed.
They announced in July that the treat would be back on the market in September, though eager eaters are reporting serious trouble locating the creamy, crunchy chocolate bar. So if you are jonesing for one, you might want to do your research before running to any old convenience or grocery store and hoping for the best.

In fact, the candy has been so hard for people to spot that Twix's official Twitter account even posted a thread on its page in an effort to help hungry folks find the snack by asking anyone lucky enough to have spotted the rare peanut butter Twix in the wild to reply with the location using the #FoundNewTWIX hashtag, so that others could piggyback off their success.
We know it seems like #TWIX PB is hard to find and we promise we’re not just hoarding it ourselves. Tell us where you #FoundNewTWIX pic.twitter.com/bJ0uoEjPpy

In addition to the heralded return of the peanut butter bar, Mars is also releasing a white chocolate-coated version of Twix, which you'll be able to grab from the store starting in November, according to Food Drink and Franchise.
"The dark chocolate, peanut butter and white chocolate categories are some of the largest and fastest growing partitions in our industry," said Allison Miazga-Bedrick, Twix brand director, Mars Chocolate North America, notes Food Drink and Franchise. "We not only wanted to give Twix fans more flavor options to choose from, but all chocolate lovers more ways to enjoy our product."
