Just when you thought Krispy Kreme couldn't get much better, they decided to up the ante and join together with Reese's for an unholy union that I'm already drooling over in anticipation.
For a limited time -- such is life, as with all good things -- peanut butter fans can pick up a supremely rich, decadent Reese's Peanut Butter Donut at Krispy Kreme, starting on August 4, notes USA Today.
The creamy delights are "filled with a Reese’s Peanut Butter Kreme filling, dipped in chocolate icing and topped with a chocolate and peanut butter drizzle, and Reese's Mini Peanut Butter chips and peanuts," says a press release, according to USA Today.
It sounds too good to be true, doesn't it?
"The matchmaking of chocolate and peanut butter is a delicious combination that consumers have enjoyed for generations," Jackie Woodward, chief marketing officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, said in an August 2 announcement. "We're satisfying an intense desire that Krispy Kreme and Reese's fans never knew they had."
No news yet on how long this beautiful treat will be around, so get it while you can.

"I have to try this!!!" one person (whom I agree with) wrote on Krispy Kreme's Twitter.
"Oh my god," said another. Short and to the point.
Most people agreed that it looks "amazing" and mind-blowingly delicious, although there were a few "ews" and such from people who don't have good taste.
"Have I died and gone to donut heaven?" asked one person, correctly.
The donut chain released a similar offering in the U.K. in March 2015; it was filled with peanut butter, topped with dark chocolate and sprinkled with peanut butter chips and caramelized hazelnuts, notes Metro.
It got some great reviews on social media, with people calling it "the best thing [they] have ever tasted," among other glowing comments.
