McDonald's Gives Its U.K. Customers A Taste Of The U.S.A.

This is actually pretty hilarious.

America has earned itself plenty of different reputations when it comes to its food game, but sometimes other countries just don't get it right. They have an idea of what Americans eat on a daily basis, but of course, everybody is different.

However, that hasn't stopped McDonald's in the U.K. from bringing back its "Great Tastes of America" menu, and offering a line-up of burgers that just flat out aren't offered in the U.S., which is kind of silly.

This year, Brand Eating reports that the menu features four different burgers that are all only available for a limited amount of time (two weeks each).

Until May 16, you can order "The New York Stack." That's a burger with two beef patties, beechwood-smoked bacon, cheese, coleslaw, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and pickles on a sesame and poppyseed-topped bagel.

Then once May 17 hits, you can order the "South Carolina Stack" until May 31. That burger includes two beef patties, beechwood-smoked bacon, smoky cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, and a "sweet ‘n’ tangy" South Carolina mustard sauce on a toasted corn meal-dusted bun.

May 31 brings the "Louisiana Stack" to the forefront, and until June 13 you can order this burger, which features two beef patties, pepper jack cheese, red and yellow peppers, mayo, and spicy ketchup on a spicy sesame seed bun.

Finally, the "Tennessee Stack" makes it grand debut on June 27, and it consists of two beef patties, beechwood-smoked bacon, smoky cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, and "Tennessee-style" BBQ sauce on a toasted flour-topped bun.

In addition to the four "American" burgers, McDonald's will also be offering the following menu items as part of its American-themed menu: The Ranch California Chicken, which is a sandwich; Spicy Nacho Cheese Wedges, which is comprised of four nacho cheese-filled wedges with jalapenos along with a sour cream and chive dip; a Mississippi Mud Pie, which is a vanilla soft-serve-based dessert loaded with chocolatey goodies; and finally a Mississippi Caramel Pie, which also features vanilla soft serve as its base, but then has cookies crumbles, cookie pieces, and caramel-flavored coating and sauce swirled in.
