Nike has reportedly released a pair of sneakers that appear to be inspired by Starbucks coffee.
The sneaker brand has released several limited-edition food collaborations over the past few months. Although neither Nike nor Starbucks have confirmed the collaboration, The Premier Store is offering the coffee-inspired shoes, listed as Nike SB Dunk Low Premium, for $100.
The low-top sneaker is a traditional Nike style. However, the green and white accents, green interior and rubber sole, and light and dark brown swirled canvas, similar to the coffee and cream swirling together in a mug, will delight Starbucks lovers everywhere.
A limited-edition Krispy Kreme and Nike collaboration, a release of Kyrie Irving’s signature shoe, is coming to a select number of U.S. cities. In Early May 2016, a truck painted in the Krispy Kreme signature colors of red, white, and green departed from Nike's campus in Beaverton, Oregon, and will make its way to Cleveland, Baltimore, Harlem and Brooklyn, New York.
In April 2016, Nike also released a chicken-and-waffles-inspired sneaker, the Nike SB Dunk High Premium Waffle. Released on April 2, the high-top sneaker consists of a waffle-woven fabric pattern, a syrup design on the Nike swoosh, and chicken and waffles artwork as part of the insoles.
