While I'm still reeling over the machine that turns booze into edible bubbles, the rest of New York City has already moved on to the next inebriating treat: rose wine-infused gummy bears.

Apparently, a new high-end candy boutique Sugarfina opened its doors on June 29 in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and it boasts a sweeping array of cute, wine- and cocktail-inspired gummy candies.

Sound delicious? Unfortunately, if your answer is "yes," you can get in line: Sugarfina's line of "candy for grownups" already has a waitlist of 400+ people who want to taste the store's two Whispering Angel Rose-infused options.

The two sold-out varieties are the “Rose All Day” gummy bear version, and the “Yes Way Rose” rose-shaped gummy. According to the Sugarfina website, both products sold out in less than 2 hours.

"Sugarfina candies are unlike anything sold anywhere else — 75 percent of our collection is exclusive to Sugarfina and can't be found anywhere else in the U.S.," co-owner Rosie O'Neill told DNA Info.

The boutique was already known for its champagne gummy bears, and sells its products by the cube. The luxurious gummies retail at $8.50 a cube (3.9 ounces), or about $34 a pound, if you want to stock up.

Luckily, after selling out of the first run so quickly, Sugarfina’s next batch will have five times as much as the first run did; if you’d like to add your name to the waiting list, be sure to e-mail roseallday@sugarfina.com.
