While some major companies are still busy rolling out their summer-seasonal specials (which makes sense, considering it is still summer), Lindt Chocolate has decided to get a head start on the autumn market, and has announced its new line of pumpkin spice Lindor truffles.

According to Consumerist, the new milk chocolate offerings will be hitting stores this August, and they will retail for $4.39 at Lindt stores, online, and in grocery and discount stores that carry the Lindor line.

While some news sources are critiquing the chocolate makers for debuting an autumn-favorite flavor a little prematurely, I disagree -- granted, the photos look like what would happen if Alice fell down the rabbit hole into the land of the North Face catalogue, and decided to Instagram the adventure… but the flavor profile is probably on point, ya’ll.

“Discover the LINDOR truffle. Smooth, melting, luscious. When you break its shell, LINDOR starts to melt and so will you,” reads the Lindt description of the product.

No, I don’t think I’ll be snacking on the truffles above white bed sheets, or spilling them decoratively out of a bouquet, but will I be trying them in autumn? Sure.

Will you?
