By Yasmine Cardenas Oh, mac & cheese, the ultimate comfort food that combines pasta and cheese- the perfect mix. It comes in a variety of ways and takes new forms all the time. It can be eaten as an appetizer, main course, or side dish. Mac & cheese can be from the box, homemade, or even deep-fried into ooey-gooey balls of cheesy goodness. Subway is making this delicious dish and putting it on its subs! The chain has announced its all-new Cheesechella menu. The Cheesechella menu includes two new subs, the Extremely Mac & Cheesy Chicken sub and the Extremely Mac & Cheesy Beef sub. That’s cheerful. These subs are much cheesier than your regular sandwiches from Subway as they have twice the amount of cheese. Each sub on this menu comes with four slices of cheddar cheese instead of the usual two slices and to cheese lovers everywhere, that’s a big deal! Extremely Mac & Cheesy Chicken features tender chicken strips marinated in jalapeno cheese sauce, fresh veggies of your choice, and topped with a mound of mac & cheese. Its counterpart the Extremely Mac & Cheesy Beef includes shaved beef steak, drizzled with jalapeno cheese sauce, the fixings, and mac & cheese. I can only imagine what it would be like to bite into my favorite sub combo with a delicious pile of mac & cheese inside. So It’s mouth-watering. Everything and I means everything, is always better with cheese but mac & cheese on a sub is just genius. Now don’t go running to your nearest Subway just yet, these Cheesechella subs are only available at Subways in Kuala Lumpur through March 31, 2021. Though we cannot taste this lovely creation. I cannot help but think of when and if Subway will introduce this menu to the states. And if they do, you can catch me in line!
