New Yorkers, the time to rejoice is now, because the owners of Rue La Rue Cafe appear to be making some heavy strides in bringing the "Golden Girls"-themed restaurant to you in tip-top shape.
In case you missed it, DNAinfo reported that Michael J. LaRue, who was a close friend of Rue McClanahan, who played Blanche Devereaux in the hit series, decided to open the "Golden Girls"-themed cafe in Washington Heights in honor of his friend.
Now, if the cafe's Facebook page is anything to go by, you can check out all of the different things going on as the Rue La Rue Cafe prepares to finally launch.
While the cafe does not yet have an opening date, it has been posting some goodies you can expect to see if you pay it a visit.
Who else is totally drooling over this "Betty White Cake"?
