The ice cream company has been shaking things up by testing its new Sundae Shakes at locations in Detroit and New Orleans this summer.

What is the Sundae Shake? It's basically a milkshake in a tall parfait cup topped with an ice cream sundae, according to Brand Eating. 

Just like it sounds, it's essentially a hybrid between a regular milkshake and an ice cream sundae. Think of it as the ultimate cure to your ice cream indecision. 

You know, for those days where you just can't make up your mind. If you want all the ice cream and believe that you deserve all the ice cream, then this is the indulgent summer treat of your ice cream dreams. 

Here’s how it works:

You get a shake of your flavor of choice, which is then topped off with your choice of ice cream and one sundae topping (e.g., chocolate syrup) along with a dollop of whipped cream, nuts and a maraschino cherry.

In Detroit, the Sundae Shake goes for $2.39, though prices may vary in other locations. 

According to Brand Eating, the mash-up dessert was being tested in the Nashville, Tennessee, area in May 2016. Now it has been spotted in Michigan and Louisiana.

Who knows where it will pop-up next? Hopefully, somewhere close to us. 

If you can't get your hands on this baby, you could try making a similar version at home. It's as simple as blending up some ice cream, adding a solid scoop and topping it to your heart's delight.
