Over the last couple of months, our healthcare workers and first responders nationwide have been putting it all on the line to do what their very best to keep us all safe and healthy during this worldwide pandemic. Little Caesars is saying thank you by donating 1 million pizzas to these everyday heros over the coming weeks. Little Caesars announced that beginning today, they will start delivering pizzas to hospitals, fire departments and police departments. They are kicking this off in Detroit, Michigan - the company’s hometown, but will then be distributing pizzas all over the country. These pizzas will provide nearly 4 million well deserved meals to our first responders and healthcare workers. [sc name="trending-articles" ] In addition to the 1 million pizzas already being donated, Little Caesar’s will provide customers the option to “Pie it Forward”, which will donate a pizza in your local area. You’ll see this option on your Little Caesars app beginning next week! If you’re planning a pizza night for your own family, keep in mind that the company is now doing delivery or pick-up without in-person contact to help reduce the spread of coronavirus, so you can still pick up your favorite hot and ready pizza - just don’t forget to spread the love and send one along to your local police, firefighters, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers as well! You can also support your healthcare workers by looking into donating to programs like Pizza vs. Pandemic - which helps to support your local workers as well as local businesses. We’re all in this together, after all. Image source: Menu Price List
