Everyone’s favorite fast-food chain, Chick-fil-A, has just announced that their signature sauces are soon going to be available for purchase at retailers nationwide. That’s right, they’re bottling and selling their delectable sauces for the masses!
What’s also cool about this is that 100% of the royalties they earn from selling their sauces at third-party retailers will go directly to funding school scholarships for Chick-fil-A restaurant Team Members.
You’ll be able to snag these 16-ounce bottles of signature Chick-fil-A sauce and Polynesian Sauce at Publix, Kroger, Walmart, and Winn-Dixie stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi starting next month (around mid-November 2020). They’re planning the nationwide rollout (which means all states!) in early 2021. So close we can taste it!
The price of the 16-ounce sauce bottles will start around $3.49.
We think the best part about this news is that the funds earned are going to support all of those sweet, kind Chick-fil-A employees who work so hard and still tell us that serving us is a pleasure! All royalties Chick-fil-A receives will be donated to the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarship Initiative. For the past 50 years, Chick-fil-A has helped 60,000 Team Members pay for their education. They’ve spent a total investment of $92 million in scholarships for Team Members! Of that $92 million, they awarded a whopping $17 million in scholarships to 6,700 restaurant Team Members in 47 states and Canada just this year alone!
"Chick-fil-A Sauce and Polynesian Sauce were offered as part of a pilot program in select Florida retailers earlier this year, and we're excited to expand the availability of our two most beloved sauces across the country," said L.J. Yankosky, senior director of Innovation & New Ventures at Chick-fil-A. "Restaurant Team Members go above and beyond every day to care for our guests and the communities they serve. We're thrilled that every 16-ounce bottled sauce purchased from a participating retailer will help provide additional scholarship opportunities to Team Members, who are a key ingredient to our restaurant experience.”
There will also be some participating Chick-fil-A restaurant locations that will be selling 8-ounce bottles of signature Chick-fil-A sauce, as well as a limited stock of bottled gift sauce sets. Just to clarify, the proceeds from the sauces purchased in-restaurant go to the individual restaurant, not to the scholarship fund. Contact your local Chick-fil-A restaurant (after they launch in mid-November) to confirm availability.
We did some digging, and it looks like you can already buy Chick-fil-A’s 16-oz signature sauce on Amazon, however it’s priced at $12.85. Click here to check it out.
