Baked Honey and BBQ Chicken Drumsticks

Baked Honey and BBQ Chicken Drumsticks


  • 2 cups 2% milk
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 20 fresh mint leaves
  • ¾ cups sugar 
  • dash of salt
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon real vanilla extract

  1. Firstly, In a large mixing bowl add the bbq sauce, salt, and pepper to taste, honey, mustard, and dried basil.
  2. Mix all of the ingredients until well incorporated and set aside.
  3. In a baking pan lined with parchment paper drizzle the olive oil and brush it so it will cover the whole surface.
  4. Dip each piece of chicken drumstick in the BBQ mixture-sauce and make sure it will be well coated.
  5. Arrange the chicken drumsticks with the sauce on them in the baking pan. Bake them for about 25-30 minutes in an already preheated oven at 350 F or 180 C degrees.
  6. Let them cool slightly for about 5 minutes and serve them with freshly chopped basil or parsley.
