Make shredded chicken: Place boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of a large pot, then season them with salt and pepper. Cover the chicken with 1 inch of water.
Place the pot on the stove and bring the water to a gentle boil. Once the liquid is boiling, reduce the heat and let simmer for 8 to 16 minutes, depending upon the size, until chicken reached 165*F. Remove from water and let cool.
Once the chicken is cooled, shred with two forks and set aside.
Make Sliders: Preheat the oven to 350˚F. Prepare a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper. Lightly spray the paper with nonstick cooking spray.
Place the bottoms of slider buns in the prepared baking dish.
