Ingredients
For the Brownie Mixture:
- ¾ cup flour
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 14 oz. cream cheese
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
- To make the brownie base, in a large mixing bowl add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
- Mix until combined and transfer the whole brownie mixture in a springform pan.
- Bake the brownie base for about 12 minutes in an already heated oven at 350 F or 180 C degrees.
- Meanwhile in a large mixing bowl mix the cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla and set aside.
- When the brownie base will be cooked, top with the cream cheese filling and let it bake again for about 25-30 minutes.
- Cool completely before adding the whipped cream.
- When cooled, whip up the whipped cream with vanilla extract and powdered sugar and decorate the brownie bottom cheese.
- Chill and serve.
