Cheesy Chicken Stuffed Shells

Ingredients

  • 10-12 large pasta shells
  • 1/2 pound chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 3/4 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 (15 ounce) jar tomato sauce of choice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Parsley, for garnish

Dinner doesn't get much easier or tastier than these Cheesy Chicken Stuffed Shells. We're obsessed with them.
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cook pasta shells according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken and ricotta cheese. Set aside.
  4. In a pan over medium heat, heat olive oil and add garlic and onions. Cook for 5 minutes, or until tender. Add tomato sauce and heavy cream. Stir to combine. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Pour half of the tomato sauce into the bottom of an oven-safe casserole dish. Fill pasta shells with chicken and ricotta mixture and place, filling side down, over the sauce in the dish. Cover with remaining sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley, serve Cheesy Chicken Stuffed Shells and enjoy!
