Cinnamon Spiced Rum Coffee

Cinnamon Spiced Rum Coffee


Winter Spice Syrup:
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon Whole Cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Allspice Berries
Iced Coffee:
  • 6 oz brewed Mayorga Coffee Mayan Blend, chilled
  • Ice
  • 1 oz Winter Spice Syrup
  • 1 oz Spiced Rum
  • Half and half, for topping
  • Ground cinnamon, for garnish
  • Cinnamon sticks, for garnish

  1. Make the syrup by combining water and sugar in a small saucepan. Toss in 3 cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and allspice berries. Bring to a simmer and then cover. Simmer with the lid on and the flame on low for 5 more minutes. Strain and store in a sealed bottle or container once cooled.
  2. Pour cooled Mayorga Coffee Mayan Blend into a mug over ice.
  3. Splash in the winter spice syrup and spiced rum. Stir with a bar spoon and add a light splash of half and half.
  4. Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top and dip in a cinnamon stick and stir to combine. Use the cinnamon stick to stir and combine the layers of coffee and syrup as you sip. Enjoy!
