Burger And Fries Casserole

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped dill pickle
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup half and half cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 bag frozen french fries

Put a twist on a classic burger and fries.

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a baking dish with cooking spray.
2) To a pan add ground beef, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Cook until beef is browned. Drain, then mix in pickles. Remove from heat.

3) Pour ground beef mixture into baking dish.

4) In a bowl whisk together mayonnaise, half and half and eggs. Pour mixture over ground beef.

5) Evenly sprinkle 1 cup of cheese on top. Arrange French fries in a single layer over cheese.

6) Bake for 35 minutes, or until French fries are cooked through and slightly crispy. Remove from oven and top with remaining cheese. Bake again for 5 minutes, to until cheese is fully melted.

7) Remove from oven, serve with burger toppings if desired and enjoy!
