Ingredients
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 large potato, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 3/4 cup peas
Instructions
We just want to pour this Chicken Pot Pie Gravy over everything. Everything!
- Heat butter in a pot over medium-high heat. Add carrots, celery, onion, potato, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add flour and chicken broth to the pot. Stir to combine. Finally, stir in cream cheese and peas.
- Cook until gravy thickens and develops a consistency like chicken pot pie filling. Taste and season with more salt and pepper if necessary.
- Remove from heat and serve over biscuits, chicken, or whatever your heart desires. Enjoy!
