sweetness to your morning waffles? Then you have to make them with matcha powder! Matcha is what gives green tea its very distinct flavor, and it's a perfect fit for waffles. Top with berries, syrup, maybe even whipped cream, and enjoy green tea waffles!
- In a large bowl combine waffle mix, 1 1/2 cups of milk, oil and egg. Stir until your batter is thoroughly combined.
- Add matcha powder and 2 tablespoons of milk, stirring until the powder has dissolved in the batter.
- Grease waffle iron with cooking spray and carefully pour the batter onto the iron. Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until waffles are a golden brown.
- Remove from iron. Top with fresh berries, maple syrup, and whipped cream. Serve and enjoy!
