Two of your favorite childhood sandwiches combined into one supremely gooey, crispy sandwich!
- Saute onions and pepper in olive oil over medium heat for 3 minutes, then add ground beef, salt, and pepper.
- When beef is browned and no longer pink, drain grease if needed, then add mustard, garlic powder, cayenne, Worcestershire, and ketchup. Stir and remove from heat.
Build sandwiches: on one slice of bread, sprinkle on cheese, then add a layer of meat and top with more cheese and a second. slice of bread. Cook in butter over medium heat until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown. Enjoy!
