Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons old bay seasoning
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 1 lb. baby potato medley
  • 4 corn on the cobbs, cut in to pieces
  • 4 andouille sausages, cut into chunks
  • 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Lemons, for serving
  • Extra old bay seasoning for serving
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garish
  • 1 crusty baguette, for serving

  1. Bring water to a boil in a large stock pot. Add in the old bay seasoning, lemon halves and bay leaves. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer.
  2. Add in potatoes and corn then let simmer for 10 minutes then add the sausage. Cook for another 10 minutes until the potatoes have softened and the sausages are cooked. Then add in the shrimp and cook for 5 more minutes until shrimp is fully cooked, then strain the liquid and put back into the pot. Dump it out onto the table, or onto a serving platter.
  3. Serve with a side of lemons, more old bay seasoning, fresh chopped parsley and a crusty baguette.
