Ingredients
- 1 1/2 teaspoons matcha salt (1 teaspoon of matcha powder mixed with 1/2 teaspoon sea salt)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons matcha powder
- 2 1/2 ounces heavy cream
- 5 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped finely
Instructions
Matcha Truffles are so easy to make and put a delicious twist on an already delicious dessert!
- Heat cream until just simmering. Stir in brown sugar till dissolved.
- Place chocolate in a mixing bowl then pour hot milk mixture over and blend chocolate is completely melt. Stir in matcha powder till blended.
- Cover bowl and chill for about 1 hour.
- Scoop out by the teaspoonful and roll into balls. Sprinkle with the matcha salt. Place truffles back in the fridge until ready to serve.
