Ingredients
- 1 cup ground almonds
- ½ cup turbinado sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 4 tablespoons orange juice
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a large mixing bowl add the ground almonds, turbinado sugar, baking powder, and flour.
- Mix until all the ingredients are mixed and add in the oil, vanilla extract, orange zest and juice, and mix until combined.
- Add dollops with the help of two spoons or just make balls out of the batter and place them in a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Let them bake in an already heated oven at 350 F or 180 C degrees for about 10-12 minutes.
- Let them cool completely.
- Add a little bit of the chocolate hazelnut spread on one of the cookies and top with another cookie to make a sandwich. Repeat the same thing with the rest of the cookies.
- Serve and enjoy.
