- 1 cup pine nuts, divided
- 6-8 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Zaatar, to garnish
- Smoked paprika, to garnish
- In a skillet on medium low heat, place pine nuts and let them roast till fragrant, constantly mixing so they do not burn.
- Add in ¾ cup of roasted pine nuts, garlic and olive oil to the food processor with the original hummus. Blend until smooth.
- Transfer the hummus to a bowl the garnish with the remaining pine nuts, olive oil, zaatar and smoked paprika.
