Red White and Blue Margaritas

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 1 ½ cups tequila
  • ¾ cup lime juice
  • ¾ cup honey
  • 3 ½ cups ice
  • 1 lime wedge
  • Red sparkling sugar
  • White sparkling sugar
  • Blue sparkling sugar

  1. Add the frozen strawberries, ½ cup of tequila, ¼ cup lime juice, and ¼ cup of honey to a blender. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth. Add in 1 cup of ice and pulse until it has a slushy consistency. Pour the mixture into a container and store it in the freezer while you blend the other flavors. Rinse the blender before making the next flavor.
  2. Add the frozen blueberries, ½ cup tequila, ¼ cup lime juice, and ¼ cup of honey to a blender. Pulse until the mixture is completely smooth. Add in 1 cup of ice and pulse until it has a slushy consistency. Pour the mixture into a container and store it in the freezer while you blend the next flavor. Rinse the blender before making the next flavor.
  3. Add the coconut milk, ½ cup tequila, ¼ cup lime juice, and ¼ cup of honey to a blender. Pulse until the mixture is completely smooth. Add in 1 ½ cups of ice and pulse until it has a slushy consistency.
  4. Pour the red, white, and blue sparkling sugar into a bowl and mix. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glasses. Invert the glasses and dip the wet rim into the bowl of sprinkles to coat it.
  5. Spoon the strawberry flavored mixture into the bottom of the glasses so that it fills them ⅓ of the way.
  6. Gently spoon the coconut flavored mixture on top of the strawberry layer until it fills the glass ⅔ of the way.
  7. Gently spoon the blueberry flavored mixture on top of the coconut layer until it fills the glass the remaining ⅓ of the way, leaving a small space from the rim.
