Chili Lemon Shrimp Tacos
This recipe will transport you right to the shores of India with its delicious melody of complex flavors.
- 1 pound large shrimps, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon chili seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil
- Juice from 1/2 lemon
- 6 mini corn tortillas
- Salsa, for topping
- Queso fresco, for topping
- Fresh lime juice, for topping
- Chopped cilantro, for topping
In a large bowl, combine shrimp, chili seasoning, salt, pepper and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Mix until shrimp is fully coated.
Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and drizzle with lemon juice. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, per side, or until shrimp is fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Clean skillet and heat a little more olive oil. Add corn tortillas and cook on the stove until crispy, making sure to flip.
Fill crispy tortilla shells with shrimp and top with salsa, queso fresco, lime juice and cilantro. Feel free to use any other taco toppings you love, too!
